An exposed tee offers panoramic views over the Pennines and the Calder Valley and this par five. From the middle of the fairway you are aiming just left of the pylon in the distance, with only the big hitter standing a chance of getting near and a bunker awaits if you are a yard or two short. For the rest you have a blind second into the former terrace gardens of the old hall with a wedge into a fairly open green.
