| A daunting drive to find the fairway - a slice is seriously punished, finishing down in the railway cutting. Aim for the stone round "tower" in the distance. In summer a bounce from the slope will put a few yards on your drive. In favourable conditions, good strikers will reach the green easily with the second shot though the green is well guarded. High handicappers would be advised to play their second shot short of the road to leave a wedge into the green. Too much club will find the ditch to the left of the green - or even the farmers field. | ![]() |
