For many years Howley Hall has been renowned for its success in developing young golfers. The Junior Team has won Leeds & District Union of Golf Clubs Division 1 for the last 6 years and has developed many successful individuals who have represented Yorkshire & Leeds at both Junior and Senior level. This has led directly to the Club's Senior Team successes at Regional & County level. Several Juniors have turned Professional in recent years including Danny Denison who represent England, Great Britain & Ireland prior to joining the Professional Ranks.
Such success is no accident. The Club continues to develop its coaching schemes with the introduction of regular 18 hole medal competitions for young golfers.
A free coaching scheme is run early in the season with either Gary or Craig. Both Professionals offer discount on one on one sessions for Juniors.
Junior Members who achieve a handicap of 28 or less are eligible to enter most Senior competitions.
